Polippix Linux 1.1

Polippix is a privacy/encryption demonstration distribution by "IT politisk forening" (Danish for The IT Political Society). It is based on the Knoppix live-cd GNU/Linux distribution and includes security software such as Tor.

The purpose of the distribution is to allow people and especially Danes to (legally) circumvent the new Internet Service Provider logging directives introduced by the Danish minister of Justice.

"Polippix is political statement in a bootable CD. It presents several IT-political problematics like how to stay anonymous and avoid censorship on the internet. It also helps the user to break DRM'ed media, like copying a dvd."
